These are one of the easiest greens to serve kids, the secret’s in the toppings. Covered in parmesan and lemon, they need no convincing. You can serve these as a vegetarian side for your picky guests or top them with crumbled bacon for a decadent delight!

Roast Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussel sprouts, cut in halfsies
- 1/2 lemon to squeeze
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 block of parmesan cheese to grate fresh
- plenty of sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350º
- Peel apart as many sprouts as you can, separating the leaves
- Rub them vigorously with olive oil
- Bake for a bout 20 minutes
- They are delicious crispy like kale chips, but don't let them burn
- Remove from heat and drizzle over lemon juice
- Smother with parmesan cheese and sea salt to taste
